About the Role:

  • As a Multi Skilled Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting our daily operations, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facilities.
  • You'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing.
  • You'll work closely with our team to maintain high standards of quality and service, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform housekeeping duties, including maintaining the cleanliness of residents' rooms and common areas.
  • Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
  • Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management.

About You:

  • You must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
  • Previous housekeeping and food services experience is an asset.
  • Previous experience in the healthcare environment or long-term care setting is preferred.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
