IT Specialist DC Support Level 2

As a Specialist, you will join the warehouse systems support team, which is tasked with supporting the daily operations of 15 distribution centers across Canada. In this role, you will be part of a support center that manages and resolves any issues related to the functioning of the various systems. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies such as WMS, RF, Voice Picking, etc. We are primarily looking for a curious person who is results- and customer-oriented, able to learn quickly, very familiar with warehouse operations, and most importantly, perfectly bilingual

Main responsabilities

  • Receive escalated tickets or requests from Level 1 DC Support and evaluate the issue.
  • Take charge of more complex problems
  • Resolve issues or redirect problems to a development team
  • Ensure the functionality of the systems to support warehouse operations at all times
  • Monitor warehouse systems to ensure smooth production operations
  • Maintain connections with other support groups, such as stores, office automation, and product managers, to optimize warehouse systems operations in collaboration with our external suppliers
  • Participate in various projects during coordination or execution of work in collaboration with the integration team and project team
  • Document interventions in the ticketing system, indicating all communication with users (verbal and written)
  • Ensure compliance with processes and guidelines
  • Work in collaboration with IT partners
Qualifications

To join our team, you need, among other things:

  • A college diploma in computer science or equivalent
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in IT support (POS, office automation, or other), including a minimum of 5 to 7 years in warehouse technology and systems support, and ideally 1 to 2 years with AS/400 or another operating system
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Good knowledge of the RF system
  • Bilingualism in French and English (oral and written)
