Millwright Job Description

A certified Millwright is sought to work with our Maintenance and Mountain Operations teams in a fast-paced environment, utilizing mechanical knowledge and experience to maintain lifts and equipment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical or hydraulic problems with associated equipment.
  • Identify and correct problems found in machines, equipment, or processes.
  • Perform preventative and required maintenance of all lifts and lift maintenance equipment.
  • Maintain records of work and report on lift maintenance activities.
  • Adhere to provincial and national standards and legislation.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Certified Journeymen Millwright with an interprovincial ticket.
  • 2-4 years previous experience as a Millwright.
  • Physically capable of performing manual labor, working at heights, and standing for prolonged periods.
  • Valid class 5 driver's license and comfortable operating ATV's and snowmobiles.
  • Intermediate to advanced skier or snowboarder.
  • Own required tools to perform the job.
  • Reliable and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Previous experience in the Resort industry an asset.
  • Familiarity with Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and terrain an asset.
  • Valid first aid and/or CPR certification an asset.
