Job Title: Consumables Associate Company: Walmart Canada Job Description:

As a Consumables Associate at Walmart Canada, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and contributing to the high-volume flow of merchandise from the backroom to the salesfloor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers in a polite and friendly manner.
  • Assist customers with product information, locate merchandise, and make purchase decisions.
  • Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management where necessary.
  • Maintain salesfloor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, and setting up product displays.
  • Ensure proper handling of claims and returns, secure merchandise, and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Receive and stock merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately, and administer required paperwork.
  • Refer service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
Minimum Qualifications:

The following qualifications are required for this position:

  • Customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg.
Preferred Qualifications:

The following qualifications are preferred for this position:

  • Previous retail experience.
  • Knowledge of merchandise and inventory management. li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
