You'll be responsible for:
- Lead the development and implementation of the project's risk management plan.
- Manage risk leads and ensure risk priorities align with priorities setup for development and implementation phases.
- Lead the development of the projects' risk registers.
- Report top corridor and SMT risk registers to EVPs.
- Lead the performance of quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis using risk management software (e.g. Oracle Primavera risk analysis, Acumen risk, etc.) and the interpretation of analysis results (e.g. Distribution S Curve Graph, Sensitivity Analysis Tornado Chart, etc.)
- Lead the preparation of detailed project and program risk reports including P50 and P80 cost and schedule risk exposures.
- Review project contingency utilization and alignment with cost risk exposures.
- Evaluate risk mitigation effectiveness by consulting with clients, project staff, and senior management.
- Lead initiatives on preparing procedures, training materials, and work instructions relating to the principle of risk and opportunity management.
- Lead on initiatives for continuous improvement.
You'll need to have:
- Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in construction risk management for large infrastructure projects, preferably in the railway industry.
- Be proficient in the use of risk management software, such as active risk manager (ARM), Oracle Primavera Risk Analyzer (OPRA), Acumen Risk, Safran or comparable dedicated software.
- Possess demonstrable problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with construction methodologies, safety regulations, and environmental considerations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
