The successful candidate will have significant experience managing multiple large projects using hybrid delivery (agile waterfall) or agile scrum delivery methods. They will be responsible for managing all aspects of one or multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives across one or multiple lines of business.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing leadership to the project team by building, coaching and motivating team members to meet project goals and milestones
- Owning the full project life cycle including implementation from initiation to deployment for one or more major initiatives simultaneously
- Developing and managing all aspects of the project and program including planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, issues, and day-to-day project activities
- 15+ years of project management experience managing multiple large hybrid delivery (agile waterfall) or agile scrum delivery methods that span one or multiple business units
- Extensive understanding of agile, hybrid, and waterfall project and program management principles, methods, and techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including extensive experience in preparing status reports and presenting to sponsors, IT and business stakeholders
- Extensive experience in coaching, mentoring, motivating, and supervising teams including the ability to communicate, set, and maintain clear expectations
