Job Description:

  • Efficiently patrol and secure premises, responding to emergency situations and authorizing entrance and departure of employees and visitors.
  • Communicate with stakeholders in a professional manner, addressing and managing security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Perform regular patrols and site checks to maintain security standards, completing monthly, weekly, and daily tasks assigned.

Requirements:

  • Open shift availability.
  • Ability to operate technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
  • Valid NS Security License.
  • Eligibility to work in Halifax up to 24 hours a week.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.
