We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team at Niagara Casinos.

As a Refrigeration Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and ensuring the proper functioning of refrigeration equipment, as well as installing and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refrigeration mechanics, with a current certificate of qualifications as a Refrigeration Mechanic (313A), and Gas Fitter 2 or 1, as well as a gas or steam fitter license.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assembly, installation, and repair of refrigeration equipment and appliances
• Mechanical setup of new equipment and machinery
• Installation and maintenance of piping and fittings for ice machines
• Evacuating and reclaiming refrigerant in compliance with required codes and standards
• Completing demand and preventative maintenance work orders
• Working safely and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation

The ideal candidate will also possess excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support a 24/7 operation.
