Seeking a highly trained Security Compliance Officer to ensure Transport Canada regulations are met at Halifax Stanfield International Airport.

As a Security Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for escorting construction workers through the airport, specifically to restricted areas, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

This is a casual position with an on-demand work schedule, requiring 12-hour shifts on a 4-on-4-off rotation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all Transport Canada regulations are met within the airport
  • Escort construction workers through the airport, specifically to restricted areas
  • Work 12-hour shifts on a 4-on-4-off rotation
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Construction or Industrial work sites
  • 3 or more years of clean driving experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Ability to drive airside
  • Security-related experience
  • A high degree of professionalism
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure
Training and Certifications:
  • Completion of First Aid
  • Valid RAIC through Transport Canada
  • Security license through the Department of Justice
  • AVSEC Training course (5 days)
  • Online training courses through Paladin employee portal
  • Additional courses as required
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Certificate Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (or related) field
