Psychometrist - Developmental Psychology
Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook, NL

Definition of Work: To provide clinical assessments of preschool children with developmental and/or behavioural concerns. Duties include administration and scoring of standardized cognitive tests for the preschool population (e.g., WPPSI-IV, Bayley-4) and observation of clients' behaviour and play skills, to assist in completion of comprehensive developmental assessments. The incumbent will work under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist. Travel to other sites in the western zone to provide services may be required. Must display initiative and an ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team. This position reports directly to the Regional Manager, Developmental Health and Adult Speech & Hearing.

Required Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Psychology from a recognized university. Master's Degree preferred. Knowledge and experience in assessment methods in the area of child development is required. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

*A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required for this position.

Hours of Work: Hours; Monday to Friday; Flexible hours will be required.
Salary: $30.75 to $34.21 per Hour
