The Sylvia Fedoruk Canadian Centre for Nuclear Innovation is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to advancing nuclear science and technology in Canada. Our mission is to drive innovation and collaboration in the nuclear sector, fostering a culture of excellence and expertise.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Director to lead our organization and drive our mission forward. As the chief executive officer, you will be responsible for the overall strategy and direction of the Centre, ensuring its continued growth and success in the nuclear innovation landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Centre's strategic plan, aligning with our mission and goals
- Lead a team of professionals in nuclear science and technology, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
- Build and maintain partnerships with academia, industry, and government stakeholders
- Secure funding and resources to support research projects and initiatives
- Ensure the safe and sustainable operation of the Saskatchewan Cyclotron Facility
- Represent the Centre at national and international forums, promoting Canadian nuclear innovation
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
A Doctoral degree in nuclear science, chemistry, physics, engineering, or health sciences, or a Master's degree with significant experience in the fieldProven executive leadership experience, with a track record of driving innovation and growthStrong networking and partnership-building skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholdersExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the Centre effectivelyA deep understanding of the nuclear innovation landscape, with a passion for driving progress and excellenceWhat We Offer
