Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead the initiation, planning, and execution of complex projects in our Wealth Management Technology Services (WMTS) team. As a key member of our program management team, you will provide expertise in managing vendor deliverables, integration, data, and reporting. Your ability to build relationships between IT, Vendor, and Business stakeholders at all levels of the organization will be crucial in ensuring project success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply your experience and knowledge to manage a variety of assignments, ensuring quality standards and goals are achieved.
  • Plan and monitor project development to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Serve as a liaison and build bridges among team members within the project, including vendors.
  • Develop and manage detailed schedules, identify early warning indicators, and provide direction for early resolution of risks and issues.
  • Oversee financials and staffing levels to efficiently meet project delivery requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, including vendors, RBC IT teams, and Product.
  • Build and present senior-level presentations and project communications.
  • Initiate process improvements and promote agile enablement within the team.
  • Complete post-project reviews and closure.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of end-to-end Agile Project Management experience, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
  • Ability to manage highly visible projects with third-party vendors and significant technology components.
  • Previous experience representing the business and technology on projects, with a proven ability to build relationships and trust with business partners.
  • Advanced communication, presentation, and facilitation skills to drive project success.
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies, change, issue, and risk management, and working knowledge of Software development lifecycle (SDLC).
