The Director of Human Resources will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for driving HR strategies, programs, and processes to achieve exceptional performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leading engaged teams and partnering with leaders to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leaders to identify, develop, and execute HR strategies, programs, and processes;
  • Lead recruitment and talent acquisition strategies to ensure adequate staffing;
  • Coach and develop HR professionals to provide HR support to employees and leaders;
  • Oversee the rollout of critical HR programs, including attraction and retention, workforce planning, performance management, and leadership development;
  • Anticipate business needs and provide HR leadership, solutions, and coaching;
  • Contribute to building a positive culture that fosters accountability and teamwork.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years' experience in progressive Human Resources roles, including strong leadership experience;
  • Post-secondary education, preferably with a concentration in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related discipline;
  • CPHR designation is an asset;
  • Depth of Generalist HR experience, covering a variety of HR competency areas;
  • A demonstrated track record of leading highly engaged teams;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and teams;
  • Demonstrated strong organizational, problem-solving, planning, and analytical skills;
  • A high degree of self-motivation, enthusiasm, professionalism, and business acumen.
