About the RoleThis is a dynamic and fast-paced production line environment where you will be responsible for processing and packaging meat products to meet company and customer standards. As a Plant Labourer, you will work closely with the Production Supervisor to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the production line.
Key Responsibilities- Process bone-out products by removing skin, excess fat and bones from meat portions.
- Further process bone-in products, including tying and clipping whole birds, processing/grading wings, legs and thighs or back on legs.
- Pack meat products into trays or boxes and apply labels to cartons.
- Feed and unload processing machines.
- Maintain good housekeeping in your respective station.
- Perform other duties as required.
- English language proficiency, written and spoken.
- Able to perform repetitive tasks, hand-eye coordination, stand for extended periods, attention to details and work in a fast-paced environment.
