Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have opportunities for Agribusiness Summer Students at our Richardson Pioneer Ag Business Centres across Alberta.

Summer Students are responsible for providing support to our teams at Richardson Pioneer and for supporting the efficient and profitable operation of our Ag Business Centres.

Responsibilities:

\r
\tAssist with crop input retail activities\r
\tScout crops for weeds, disease and insects\r
\tSoil & tissue testing\r
\tAssist with the purchase, storage and shipping of grain\r
\tOperate equipment in a safe and efficient manner\r
\tProvide excellent customer service to our farm customers\r
\r
\r
\r
\r

Qualifications:
\r

\r
\r
\tStrong interest and knowledge of Agriculture \r
\tHighly self-motivated, organized and detail oriented\r
\tStrong communication and interpersonal skills\r
\tStudents or graduates of an Agriculture degree or diploma program focusing on Agronomy, Plant Science or Soil Science \r
\tA valid driver's licence is required\r
\tAgriculture background is considered an asset but not required\r
\r
\r
\r
\r
