Eastlink is seeking a highly skilled Senior Core Network Engineer to join our Mobile Core team. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our mobile core infrastructure.

This is a hybrid role, requiring at least 3 days per week in our office. We offer a collaborative and dynamic work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement mobile core infrastructure solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
  • Participate in design of future systems and technologies
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Requirements
  • Approximately 10 years of experience in a Telecom/IT-related field
  • Strong knowledge of EPC, IMS, and 5GC architectures
  • Experience with signaling protocol analysis using industry tools such as Wireshark
  • Knowledge of cloud computing solutions such as Openstack or containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • IP networking background desired, with certifications such as CCNA an asset
  • Scripting/programming background desired, with familiarity with JavaScript an asset
  • Experience maintaining DNS systems (e.g. Bind) is an asset
  • Web development background is an asset
