Business Governance and Control Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Business Banking Governance and Control team as an Intern/Co-op. As a key member of our team, you will assist in the development and implementation of business governance and control programs, ensuring effective risk management and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the coordination of business governance and control programs across multiple areas and stakeholders.
- Conduct quality control testing activities to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to business governance and control.
- Perform ad hoc analysis to identify areas for process improvement.
- Collaborate with business partners and Control Partners to enhance the way we work.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business/Commerce, or a related field.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to solve problems.
- Strong desire to learn and develop an end-to-end understanding of processes.
- Ability to think critically and question the status quo.
- Ability to analyze and understand large data sets.
- Capability to communicate results and issues clearly and concisely.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently to meet business objectives.
