Grader Operators are responsible for maintaining parking lots and accesses, as well as contract work on chalets, condominiums, and strata roads. They must have heavy equipment operation experience, particularly with graders, and possess mechanical aptitude. Self-motivation, excellent guest service skills, and strong communication skills are also essential. Grader Operators work well within a diverse team environment and have flexible availability, including evenings, early mornings, weekends, and statutory holidays.

  • Clear snow from roads, accesses, lots, and around buildings
  • Maintain snow removal equipment
  • Summon first aid if required
  • Communicate effectively with all departments regarding operations
  • Work cooperatively as a member of the snow removal team to ensure safe work practices are adhered to at all times
  • Comply with all department and company policies, and procedures
  • Perform other tasks, as assigned by management
  • Uphold the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times

Physical demands of the role include:

  • Ability to sit and stand for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to lift and carry 25kg at times
  • Must be able to kneel, bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill duties
  • Requires grasping, tool use, writing, standing, sitting, driving, repetitive motions, climbing, listening, and hearing ability, and visual acuity

Wage: $30.00-$40.00
