Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team at LaPrairie Group. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for hauling various bulk materials in Super B and tridem live bottom configurations on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Operational Checks: Conduct and record pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate loading and unloading equipment as required to facilitate the transportation of bulk materials.
  • Scheduling and Logistics: Adhere to daily schedules set out by Dispatch and complete daily driver logs accurately and on time.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized truck, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Communication and Adaptability: Develop excellent communication skills to effectively navigate work sites and adapt to daily changes in site scope of work.
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 License: Must hold a valid Class 1 license with a clean drivers abstract.
  • Experience: Three years or more of bulk commodity hauling on and off highway is preferred.
  • Availability: Availability to work overtime when needed and daily subsistence for out-of-town work.
  • Oilfield Experience: Oilfield experience is a significant asset.
