Join our team as a Laboratory Supervisor at the La Ronge Health Centre. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for supervising technical staff and work processes, ensuring the highest quality of patient care.
Job DescriptionAs a Laboratory Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising technical staff and work processes to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations
- Performing laboratory duties associated with the detection, prevention, and management of physiological and pathological conditions
- Providing leadership and guidance to technical staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Forty-eight (48) months of previous discipline-related experience
- A basic knowledge of other disciplines within the department
- A Medical Laboratory Technology diploma (MLT)
- Licenses from the Saskatchewan Society of Medical Laboratory Technologists and the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science
You will need to possess:
- Intermediate computer skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This is a full-time regular position with a salary range of $45.070 to $ (step range). You will be required to work 448 hours per 12 weeks. A valid driver's license is required for this position.
