Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a part-time Admissions Coordinator to join their team at their Long-Term Care home in Goderich, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support residents and families throughout the admission process, ensuring a smooth transition to our care home.
  • Assist with rate reductions, reporting, and government documents, maintaining accurate records and confidentiality.
  • Develop and maintain calendars and meeting schedules, ensuring effective communication with residents, families, and staff.
  • Act as a liaison between families and advocate for residents, promoting their rights and dignity.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures, prioritizing quality assurance, safety, and infection control.
  • Prepare internal reports and maintain accounting records, handling payments and billing inquiries.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, greeting visitors, and directing them to the appropriate staff member.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary diploma in office or business administration (or comparable) preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience in an administrative role, with proficiency in office equipment and software.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety practices, principles, and legislation.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to read and write English fluently.
