- You will manage Direct and Indirect tax matters in Canada.
- Ensure Quarterly tax reporting is done for internal Kuehne+Nagel requirements.
- You will assist in filing of Canadian Tax Returns, encompassing Income Tax, GST/HST, and QST returns.
- You will be provide comprehensive day-to-day tax guidance to all Canadian business units.
- Overseeing external advisory engagements, to progressively bring outsourced tasks in-house to significantly reduce advisory costs.
- You will assist in-house tax advisor for Kuehne + Nagel's growing presence in the Canadian market, assuming full accountability for Canadian tax affairs.

Your Skills and Experiences- CPA/CA or Bachelors degree in accounting discipline is needed
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role is needed
- 3+ years of experience in service/international advisory industry preferred
- Extensive knowledge on State/Corporate/Partnership tax laws
- Certifications of CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program or Master of Tax Program would be an asset
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint, and can maintain complex Excel spreadsheets
