YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking an individual with a wealth of experience in landscape installation, particularly in hardscape construction, coupled with strong leadership skills. As a Foreman, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating and overseeing the installation of diverse landscape features, ensuring top-notch craftsmanship, and upholding a safe working environment.
- Deliver high-quality workmanship to clients with pride and detail on time and within budget.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, collaborate with supervisors throughout all stages of construction on project requirements, objectives, updates and address any concerns.
- Interpret and execute project plans, blueprints, and specifications with precision.
- Conduct on-site meetings with clients and supervisors to manage project scope and schedule.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and company policies throughout all project phases.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and regulations and maintain rigorous quality control measures throughout construction, promptly addressing any issues that arise.
- Actively document and track project scope changes, project progress and any alterations.
- Lead, train and mentor subcontractors and direct reports to deliver excellent work on time.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- 2-5 years of experience managing large hardscape installation, landscaping, construction projects from start-to-finish.
- Proven leadership capabilities with a knack for motivating and supervising teams effectively.
- Thorough understanding of hardscape materials, techniques, and installation methodologies.
- Possess an educational background or training from an accredited trades school.
- Technically versed in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, PROCURE, and Bluebeam.
- Asset: if you possess any of the following certificates: PMP, Construction, ICPI, Earth Retention, Allan Block, Civil Engineering, Machine Operator
- Effective negotiator and exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
- Acute attention to detail with the flexibility and agility to pivot quickly and proactively handle roadblocks.
- You lead and work in alignment with Premier Landscaping's values: integrity, consistency, evolving and enriching.
- Strong organizational prowess and time management abilities to handle competing priorities and thrive in dynamic work environment.
- An ambitious hard-worker with a solutions-driven mindset, a drive to deliver great work and can-do attitude.
