Relief Part Time – Respiratory Therapist Join our team at Langley Memorial Hospital and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care as a Relief Part Time – Respiratory Therapist. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a rapidly growing organization with health professionals who are dedicated to providing the best possible care. **About the Role** Under the general supervision of the Clinical Practice Chief, Respiratory Services, and being administratively accountable to the Manager, Health Services, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to respiratory therapy. Your responsibilities will include: • Performing diagnostic and therapeutic assessments, interventions and follow-ups as related to Respiratory Therapy • Providing family, patient and staff education • Performing outpatient procedures including bronchoscopies, pediatric exercise challenges, ABG's, care of chronic ventilated patients • Requisitions supplies and minor equipment for departmental operations within approved budget • Participating in quality improvement activities • Maintaining documentation and monitoring equipment • Providing input into the departmental operating and capital budgets • Participating in meetings and departmental committees **Qualifications** • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program • Successful completion of the Canadian Board of Respiratory Care credentialing exam • Two years' recent experience • Eligible for membership with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT) • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Level C and current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification **About Fraser Health** Fraser Health is a leading healthcare provider in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, serving over two million people.
