Southbridge Pinewood is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team in Thunder Bay, ON.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional resident care and is committed to upholding the highest standards of nursing practice.
- Provide exceptional resident care while following protocols and maintaining physicians' orders.
- Observe, report, and record vital signs, symptoms, and conditions of residents, and initiate remedial health measures where appropriate.
- Organize and direct functions and activities related to the provision of care to residents.
- Assist in the management of the work of nursing and personal care staff.
- Train and develop new staff, referring concerns to the Director of Care.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
- A serving heart and a passion for caring for seniors.
- Registration/eligibility for registration with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario.
- Previous experience in long-term care is an asset, with comprehensive knowledge of duties.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and comprehension skills.
- Developed creative problem-solving skills to address complex situations.
