As a Self-Checkout Attendant at Walmart, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for assisting customers with transactions, promoting company sponsor programs, and maintaining a clean and organized self-service area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with transactions and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Promote company sponsor programs, such as credit card services and charity initiatives.
  • Keep the self-service area clean and organized, free of debris and foreign objects.
  • Educate customers on the correct use of self-service options.
  • Observe customer activities and provide assistance when needed.
  • Explain the reasons for self-service interventions and quality checks to customers.
  • Respond to EAS alarms and complete the "Failure to Deactivate" Log.
  • Notify the Customer Service Manager of low cash or technical issues in the self-service area.
  • Return Scan & Go scanners to their home after use.
