Key Responsibilities
  • Zones the department to ensure efficient stock rotation and expired product removal.
  • Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain a high-quality shopping experience.
  • Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and discrepancies.
  • Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management.
  • Maintains features and keeps the area neat, clean, and organized to provide a positive shopping experience.
Requirements
  • Minimum qualifications include adherence to food safety and handling procedures, sanitation and cleaning procedures, and proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience in customer service, retail, or a related field.
