About the Role

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using a range of technologies including SQL Server, C#, React JS, SQL Azure, JavaScript, and.Net Framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development: Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure software solutions are secure, reliable, and performant, meeting the highest standards of quality.
  • Testing and Integration: Implement automated testing and continuous integration practices to enhance software quality and delivery speed.
Requirements
  • Education: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Demonstrate extensive experience with SQL Server, C#, React JS, SQL Azure, JavaScript, and.Net Framework.
  • Domain Knowledge: Exhibit strong domain knowledge in Property & Casualty Insurance, with a deep understanding of industry-specific requirements.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate Certified Scrum Developer (CSD)
