Job Summary

How you will make an impact:

As a member of the Waitstaff, you will shine by efficiently taking and delivering food and beverage orders to our dining room patrons.

As a Waitstaff, you will:

  • Warmly welcome and promptly serve guests in the dining area, taking food and drink orders following established service procedures
  • Deliver food promptly and professionally while upholding food safety and sanitation standards. Engage with guests to address additional needs or requests periodically
  • Exhibit a thorough understanding of menu items and ingredients. Provide guidance on food and drink pairings when requested, cater to special requests, and accommodate dietary preferences. Showcase knowledge of specialized diets
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery and fulfill special requests
  • Address complaints or concerns promptly and escalate issues to the supervisor when necessary
  • Ensure proper setup and cleanup of the dining area before and after service, maintaining cleanliness and meeting sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues from other departments to execute tasks during special events and functions

About you:

  • Prior experience in the food services sector is a plus
  • Hold a valid Food Handler Certificate or its provincial equivalent
  • Exceptional communication skills and a team-friendly attitude
  • Physical ability to handle heavy, hot items, and standing/walking for the majority of the shift
