**Immunology Research Scientist Wanted**
A highly motivated and collaborative contract research scientist is sought to join the Translational Chemical Biology group in Burnaby, Canada.
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled scientist to support large molecule discovery efforts by evaluating and developing novel strategies to deimmunize therapeutic enzymes and other proteins.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Evaluate and develop novel strategies to deimmunize therapeutic enzymes and other proteins
- Collaborate with experimental immunology and discovery proteomics teams to develop tools for large molecule drug discovery
- Integrate immunogenicity data into ML algorithms to accelerate large molecule drug discovery
**Requirements:**
- MSc in Immunology, Chemical Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical and/or Biological Engineering or a related field
- 1-3 years industrial or academic research experience
- Strong background in basic immunology and cell culture
- Experience with immunoassays (e.g., flow cytometry, ELISA, ELISpot)
- Understanding of basic protein biochemistry and structural characterization methods
- Ability to learn new methods and work independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Self-driven, creativity, and willingness to work on difficult and high impact problems
- Commitment to diversity and equity while creating a welcoming and inclusive work environment
**What We Offer:**
- Annual base salary range: $80,000 CAD – $115,000 CAD
