Senior Simulation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Simulation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for creating static and dynamic simulation models to optimize production processes, increase efficiency, and estimate resource requirements for our Magna production plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement simulation models to analyze and optimize production processes
  • Collect and analyze data to build, calibrate, and validate models
  • Manage project data and metadata, including procurement and logging
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects
  • Develop modeling libraries and tools to support simulation modeling
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or related industry
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing operation patterns and simulation modeling
  • Experience with SIMIO and OEE concepts
  • Certification in project management or statistical analysis is an asset
