Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Care Attendant to join our team at the Brief & Social Detox Centre in Saskatoon. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide medical assessment and screening for individuals using our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct medical assessments and screenings for individuals using our services
  • Work closely with other staff members to provide comprehensive care
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and their families
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
Requirements
  • Valid Class 4 driver's license
  • International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)
  • Pre-Hospital Care Program - Intermediate Care Paramedic (ICP) Level
  • Pre-Hospital Care Program - Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) Level
  • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work and communicate in a cross-cultural setting
  • Knowledge in diverse cultures, values, and traditions
Preferred Qualifications
  • HSAS membership
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at PCP/EMT level
