Working as a Produce Stocker at Walmart Canada, you will provide exemplary customer service by adhering to the company's basic beliefs and values. You will maintain and zone the produce area, assist with stocking and sales, and ensure the merchandise is properly signed and priced. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to lift up to 25 kg.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Zones the department to ensure efficient stock rotation and product visibility.
  • Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain a high level of product quality.
  • Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet company standards.
  • Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and product rotation to maintain a well-stocked and organized department.
  • Ensures the department is fully stocked with merchandise and is ready for business by performing daily stock checks and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Follows Health and Safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 25 kg.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
