Track Maintainer/Truck Driver

Are you someone who enjoys physical labor and working outdoors? If so, CN has a rewarding career opportunity for you as a Track Maintainer/Truck Driver.

As part of a team, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining track components to ensure the safety and functionality of the railroad. Your role will involve supervising track forces, inspecting track work, and participating in safety programs to uphold CN's standards.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and maintain track structure
  • Supervise track forces for quality maintenance
  • Implement safety directives
  • Assist in track repairs and replacements
  • Clean up track area after work completion

Working Conditions:

  • Available to work shifts and travel away from home
  • Perform physical work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

Training:

Upon hiring, you will undergo both formal and on-the-job training to ensure you are equipped with the necessary skills for the position. Training will cover health and safety rules, as well as machine operator procedures.
