Job Summary:

As a Pay Master Assistant at Air Creebec inc., you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our payroll department. Your primary responsibilities will include compiling, entering, and verifying data in accordance with established practices and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and input data for semi-monthly payroll processing using our payroll system and computerized system.
  • Coordinate the payroll preparation, process, and reconcile discrepancies; maintain accurate payroll records and produce reports.
  • Act as a resource person for managers and employees regarding information and compliance with pay department procedures.
  • Assist the Pay Master and the Chief Financial Officer in various mandates.

Requirements:

  • College diploma in Accounting and Management / Administration or any combination of training and experience deemed equivalent.
  • Good general knowledge of payroll administration.
  • Knowledge of the HCM Dayforce payroll system from Ceridian is considered an asset.
  • Bilingual, with excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Office suite.
  • Able to demonstrate autonomy, discretion, and handle multiple files simultaneously.
