About This Role

CAE's Accounting Team is expanding, and we're seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst IFRS to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in leading various projects and ensuring the successful implementation of IFRS accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the primary expert on non-routine transactions, such as business acquisitions, joint ventures, and complex accounting treatments.
  • Contract Analysis and Documentation: Provide expert analysis and documentation for contract-related transactions and events.
  • Finance Business Partner: Collaborate with business units to prepare monthly financial analysis, evaluate performance, and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Ad Hoc Financial Analysis: Prepare and present ad hoc financial analysis to Management, highlighting key observations and insights.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our accounting processes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Professional Designation: Professional accounting designation (CPA) is mandatory.
  • Experience: Minimum of six years of relevant experience in IFRS accounting.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of IFRS, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Language: Bilingual (French and English) is an asset.
