We are seeking a highly energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Mascot & Events Representative at Big White Ski Resort. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for representing the resort in our iconic 'The Loose Moose' mascot suit, engaging with the public, and performing various duties to ensure seamless event delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute and manage the setup and teardown of events organized by the Sales and Marketing team.
- Perform mascot duties during events and daily resort operations.
- Engage with the public, take photos, and perform mascot-specific gestures and dances.
- Assist in the creation and enhancement of engaging events.
- Maintain close communication with various departments to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Uphold excellent internal and external customer service standards.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a diverse team and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Comfortable engaging with the general public.
- Ability to wear and perform in the mascot suit, meeting specific height and fitness requirements.
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.
- Comfortable in confined spaces and able to perform energetically at events.
- Regularly lift and carry weights, and handle physical demands of event setups and teardowns.
- Compensation of $18.50/hour
