Job Title: Field Applications Analyst II

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a highly skilled Field Applications Analyst II to join our Canadian Field Applications Specialist Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation and support of instrumentation, ensuring that analyzers meet Beckman Coulter stated requirements in the customer laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure customer is fully prepared for analyzer verification and meeting milestones for established implementation timeline.
  • Completes Verification studies on instrumentation including, but not limited to instrument set-up, calibration, precision, linearity studies, and method comparisons.
  • Provides onsite training for accurate operation of instrumentation.
  • Handle and support customer satisfaction to sustain the growth of the business.
  • Works collaboratively across the business to build partnerships with the marketing, service, and sales teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field with 5+ years' experience in Laboratory/Diagnostic instrumentation or related field. MLT preferred.
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written.
  • Advanced understanding of Diagnostics or Healthcare Industry with heavy emphasis on Laboratory Regulatory environment.
  • Must be willing to travel domestically at least 70% of the time (based on the need of the position) and willing to work out of home-based office.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Shown excellence in communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Familiarity with Standard Laboratory Practices, including Quality Control, record keeping, and regulatory requirements (CAP, CLIA, IQMH, EQAS).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SmartSheet, and EP Evaluator.
