We are seeking a skilled Recreation Worker to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a Recreation Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients/patients/residents by providing activities that promote their mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and cultural well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our clients/patients/residents.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure that activities are aligned with individual care plans.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients/patients/residents to help them achieve their goals and maintain their independence.
  • Conduct assessments to identify the needs and abilities of clients/patients/residents and develop strategies to address any challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records of client/patient/resident participation and progress.

Requirements:

  • One (1) year experience in healthcare.
  • Grade 12 education.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work with special needs clients/patients/residents.
