Our client in Brampton is seeking a full time, skillful Spray Painter. This is an amazing permanent job opportunity with numerous benefits. It's Monday to Friday, 7:30AM to 4:00PM, located in the Dixie and Steeles area.

Responsibilities

  • Performed skilled painting and rust prevention of parts and equipment as per drawing
  • Read and interpret manuals, product guides, and material safety data sheet
  • Prepare surface for painting or repainting by pressure washing
  • Prepare work surface for painting by applying masking tape over surface
  • Prepare and mix paint to match specified color codes
  • Apply prime and finish paints and rust preventative materials to a variety of surfaces
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment used
Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience painting products, components, sub assemblies as per drawing specifications
  • Hands on experiencing using sand blasters, sanding, airless painting and electrostatic sprayers
  • Methods, material, tools, and equipment used in the Industrial Painting Trade
  • Methods and practices of cleaning and maintaining equipment and supplies
  • Hazardous waste disposal methods
