Key responsibilities for the Assistant Manager, Insurance & Bonding role include:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Insurance & Surety department
- Ensure bonds are issued in a timely manner with high accuracy
- Build constructive relationships across the organization and within the Insurance and Bonding group
- Assist in managing insurance & surety within the P3 process
- Input insurance coverage on a timely basis
- Gather and prepare information required for corporate renewal
- Review insurance requirements in contracts
- Liaison with broker & seek advice to ensure no coverage gaps
Requirements for the Assistant Manager, Insurance & Bonding role include:
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with CCDC contracts is an asset
