Job Summary

As a Grill Cook with Compass Canada, you will be responsible for running the grill operations and preparing food to serve customers. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
  • Use established ticket-collection procedures during service and maintain accurate records.
  • Comply with corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure high-quality food service.
  • Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure a smooth service period.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work station area, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, and refrigeration equipment.
Requirements
  • Two years of experience as a grill cook or in kitchen preparation and cooking.
  • FoodSafe Level 1 Certification.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
