The Government of Alberta seeks a detail-oriented Data Integrity Analyst to maintain and ensure the accuracy of data within various registries and applications.
The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication skills to provide business user support and resolve data integrity issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of data within various registries and applications
- Provide business user support to health records, registration, and other business stakeholders
- Identify, investigate, and electronically resolve linkages, overlays, duplicates, and other data integrity issues
- Use various tools to remediate data integrity errors and maintain or exceed established targets
- Contribute to the overall management of client identification within the Electronic Health Record arena
- Related one-year certificate (e.g. Medical Terminology) supplemented by at least two (2) years of relevant experience
- Experience in health records or client/patient registration field
- Strong knowledge of admissions/discharge/transfer systems
- Familiarity and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Creative Problem Solving: Utilize data integrity remediation knowledge and access to available demographic systems to investigate and provide solutions
- Build Collaborative Environments: Act as a contact between data integrity analysts, business analysts, and other stakeholders
- Drive for Results: Adapt to changing applications and processes to improve data integrity resolution outcomes
