About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Floor Care Specialist to join our Special Services Crew at Dexterra Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our floor care programs are delivered to the highest standards, meeting the needs of our clients and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Floor Care Services: Ensure that floor care programs are delivered as part of our preventative maintenance plan, meeting service levels and client expectations.
  • Respond to Calls: Respond to calls as required, demonstrating flexibility with shift times and locations of work.
  • Operate Equipment: Safely operate floor care equipment, including vans and trailers, and ensure that equipment is always in good working condition.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Convey a professional and welcoming presence, interacting with members of the traveling public while multi-tasking.
  • Maintain Safety Standards: Attend all required health & safety training, work in a safe manner, and follow safe work instructions.
Requirements
  • Class G Driver's License: Possess a valid Class G driver's license and be able to drive a van hauling an equipment trailer.
  • Floor Refinishing Experience: Have experience in floor refinishing, including waxing and buffing.
  • Communication Skills: Possess clear, concise communication skills in English and be able to read and follow layout instructions.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to walk for long periods of time, lift and move equipment, and work in confined spaces.
