**Support Companion Job Opportunity**

We are seeking a Support Companion to provide companionship and assistance to medically stable patients in their homes.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Provide companionship and basic household tasks under the direction of a Home Support Supervisor
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping duties such as washing dishes and doing laundry
• Provide respite for patients while the primary caregiver is out
• Maintain awareness of patients' abilities, diagnosis, diet, and special needs
• Travel between patients' residences or facilities within assigned region

**Qualifications**

• Compassionate individual with a passion for helping others
• Ability to interact with others in a caring, courteous, and tactful manner
• Ability to speak other languages is considered an asset
• Valid Vulnerable Sector Police Check and TB Test
