Job Summary

This role involves performing facilities technology work related to the operation of microprocessor-controlled systems and equipment within healthcare facilities to ensure the patient environment is appropriately controlled and maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the proper functioning of microprocessor-controlled systems and equipment in healthcare facilities.
  • Perform troubleshooting and maintenance tasks to resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate with the facilities management team to develop and implement maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and records.
Requirements
  • Good standing with the NBSCETT and certification as a Professional Technologist.
  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Electronics Engineering Technology program or a two-year Industrial Control Technology program.
  • Good judgment and ability to solve problems.
  • Capacity for analysis and synthesis.
  • Sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform the assigned work.
  • Good work history (performance and attendance).
  • Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values.
  • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.
Language Requirements

Written and spoken competence in French and spoken competence in English are required.

The above requirements may be verified through oral, written or practical tests during the selection process.
