League Ambassador Job Description

Seeking outgoing and detail-oriented individuals to act as League Ambassadors for JAM, responsible for ensuring smooth league games and providing exceptional player experiences.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage with players to ensure a positive experience before, during, and after games
  • Establish relationships with vendors, facilities, and the community to support JAM's growing brand
  • Set up equipment for sports and manage the venue throughout the night
  • Enforce league rules and sportsmanship to create safe play during games
  • Assist with incidents and injuries as needed
  • Clean up the facility and pack up equipment at the end of the night
  • Submit shift reports through JAM's online system
  • Collect and create fun content for JAM's social media platforms

Requirements:

  • High energy and positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of sports rules and formats is an asset

Working Conditions:

  • Monday to Friday, 5:45 pm to 12:00 am, with some Saturday and Sunday shifts available
  • Shifts typically 3 to 6 hours long, depending on the venue
  • Responsibilities and shift times may vary depending on availability
  • Access to a vehicle and valid license is required

Compensation:

  • Starting hourly rate of $17.55 CAD
  • Hourly rate increases based on the number of shifts worked
  • Opportunity to participate in tournaments at no charge
