Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN)/Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Shared Health, a leading healthcare organization in Manitoba.
Job Summary: As a Registered Nurse (RN)/Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with healthcare teams, and contribute to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing services to patients with complex and unpredictable health needs
- Administer prescribed medical treatments and medications
- Lead and coordinate patient care and discharge
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in education and training to enhance nursing skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved Registered Psychiatric Nursing program or approved Registered Nursing program required
- Minimum one (1) year recent work experience in a clinical setting
- Active registration with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM) or the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)
- Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM)
- Knowledge of College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses and Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Indigenous customs, traditions, and values
- Competency in an Indigenous language
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
