Our client, a leading Construction Management company, is seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to join their team in the Vancouver area.

Job Summary

As a Construction Superintendent, you will oversee all aspects of the site, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery of projects while prioritizing the safety of all personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • On-site supervision and coordination of trades for various projects across the City of Vancouver.
  • Develop and maintain project plans and construction schedules in conjunction with the project team to manage employee and subcontractor activities.
  • Ensure project plans and schedules are executed within budget and that work is completed in compliance with design requirements.
  • Provide leadership to peers, ensuring all site staff adhere to the company's safety culture.
Requirements
  • At least 5+ years of experience working on residential and commercial projects (Wood Frame and Concrete).
  • Construction knowledge, including overall understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and planning concepts.
  • Ability to understand project scopes, schedules, and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Proven interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
