Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Diesel Technician III to join our team in Quebec, Canada. As a Diesel Technician III, you will be responsible for assisting with vehicle maintenance and repairs, including removing, replacing, and adjusting brakes, fifth wheels, and other components. You will also perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with vehicle maintenance and repairs, including removing, replacing, and adjusting brakes, fifth wheels, and other components
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery
  • Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments, as well as power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, and jacks and hoists
  • Work in a team environment to complete tasks and projects
  • Develop and maintain a high level of technical knowledge and skills

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of practical experience with vehicle repair or truck repair
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Vocational/Technical or certification preferred
  • Must be currently enrolled in an apprentice program
  • Must maintain membership/registration with respective Government Agencies
  • Working knowledge in the use of hand tools required
  • Current driver's license class G or class 5 and the ability to obtain class DZ within 6 months of being hired required
  • Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems
